While on the live web show the Joe Rogan Experience, famous entrepreneur and douchebag Elon Musk hit a blunt. Almost immediately after, shares of Musk’s company Tesla dropped 6% and two Tesla executives quit their positions.

The CEO, who seems to be unraveling lately, hit the blunt after Rogen passed it to him. Rogen asked him, “How does it work? Do people get upset at you if you do certain things?” To that, Musk shrugged, shook his head and inhaled.

It turns out maybe some people do get upset if he does certain things. For instance, Tesla’s head of accounting, Dave Morton, and its head of human resources, Gaby Toledano, both of whom quit their jobs one day after the blunt incident and a large drop in the company’s stocks, as reported by The Guardian.

For another instance, the entire world got upset at Musk for baselessly calling Vernon Unsworth, a diver who helped rescue the children trapped in a Thai cave last summer, a “pedo.”

One more for kicks: he also got the Security and Exchanges Commission pretty upset when he cavalierly tweeted last summer that he was going to take Tesla private (off the stock market) and then took it back shortly after. He’s now under investigation by the SEC.

In an interview with the New York Times last month, Musk confided that he has become overworked to the point of it becoming “excruciating” and that his friends were concerned about him. After that, Tesla’s stock dropped to its lowest value in more than two years.

And now this blunt looks like it’s yet another nail in Musk’s electric self-driving coffin.

To add insult to injury, it doesn’t seem that Rogan’s blunt gave off a high worth the headache that it’s causing the embattled CEO. After taking a hit, he told the show’s host, “I don’t actually notice any effect.”
