Last time Lil Wayne’s life flashed before his eyes during a shooting was when he was only twelve, but he faced another threat of gunfire last week when his group of two tour buses were fired upon in Georgia. About twelve other people were with him, but thankfully nobody was injured, including Wayne. It happened as his tour buses were leaving after a performance at a night club at around 3:30 a.m., when a white SUV and a “corvette-style” vehicle performed a drive-by on the tour buses.

Nothing else is known besides the vehicle descriptions and it is still currently under police investigation with no known leads.

Lil Wayne didn’t miss a beat, in case you missed out, he made a guest appearance on ESPN’s new hilarious daytime show Highly Questionable on Tuesday. If you haven’t seen the show before, you have Bomani Jones, Dan Le Batard and his father, Papi doing sports headlines in a Jimmy Kimmel-esque format where you get some semi-serious analysis with Batard’s father saying some unintentionally hilarious stuff. Papi is a cool guy, he attempted to rap Lil Wayne’s chorus off Drake’s record HYFR in the most PG-way possible. Turns out even bullets don’t faze you much when you’re drinking lean all day.
