The University of Montana experienced a slight embarrassment a few days ago when their on-campus sign was hacked, and changed to “Smoke weed every day.” Right on, sign. I feel you.
The owner of the sign was contacted, and the president of the company, Wade Sellers, said he had nothing to do with the message and that it was not an attempt to advocate the legalization of pot.
Luke Hoerner, a university police offer had a sense of humor toward the ordeal and admitted that he found the situation funny during an interview with the student newspaper.
Nobody knows who done the deed, but the password for the sign has been changed so whoever gained access shouldn’t be able to do it again anytime soon – unless they figure out the ironclad password the exact same way they did before.
