Cops and stoners may be enemies in some ways, but they do share one passion in life. At the end of a long shift or a long sesh, they can both rely on a good god almighty donought to se them right.

Well aware of the public they serve, the Portland Police Department is now explaining Oregon’s new recreational marijuana law with doughnuts. As of July 1, Oregonians will be able to carry an ounce of marijuana in public — which happens to be the size of voodoo doll doughnut.

So for a visual aid to show just how much pot is legal, the PPD put some nugs next to a voodoo doll doughnut, and bam, a munchie-driven visual aid to educate residents on what an ounce to a pound of weed looks like. Why a doughnut? Voodoo Doughnuts is wildly popular doughnut shop in on Portland frequented by both police officers and (shocker) stoners.
